We have a truly fantastic PTFA at West Hill Primary School. The events organised by the PTFA each year contribute in a really important way to the excellent community spirit at the school. Each year those who attend the AGM vote for the key members of the Committee: the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, but all parents are automatically members.

The funds raised by the PTFA for the school have been spent on:

– ICT equipment and software

– Art resources

– First News Class 5 and 6 Newspaper Subscription

– Maths and English software subscriptions

– Science equipment

– Forest School equipment

– Library books (updating library, music books and mental health books)

– Animation workshop

– Staff training for forest school support

– Playground markings

We have fantastic fundraising events for both children and parents, which are thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. These include:

– Our Village Summer Fete

– A Winter Ball

– Childrens’ Discos

– Family Bingo

– Cake Sales

– “Break the Rules” day

There are also mufti (non-uniform) days to raise contributions for raffles at the Summer Fete.

Keep an eye out for more information about events taking place in  the news section.

We are very grateful to our PTFA for all their hard work throughout each year.

If anyone would like to get involved, provide support to events or have a suggestion please contact Al Claxton at the PTFA email address
